There’s no reserved seating, so come and sit where you’d like! Our worship leaders will lead us in song, and then you will hear a powerful message from the Bible.
WHO WE ARE
Our Foundation
- The Church forms a spiritual unity of which Christ is the divine head. It is animated by one Spirit, the Spirit of Christ. It professes one faith, shares one hope, and serves one King. The Church is the citadel of the truth and God’s agency for communicating to believers all spiritual blessings. The Church then is the object of our faith rather than of knowledge.
- The word “CHURCH” or “EKKLESIA” was first applied to the Christian society by Jesus Christ in Matthew 16:18, the occasion being that of his benediction of Peter at Caesarea Philippi.
- The name of our Church, “CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST” is supported by I Thessalonians 2:14 and other passages in the Pauline Epistles.
Our Vision
- To reach the lost and the unchurched with the gospel message of restoration that transcends every cultural, racial, economical, and denominational barrier
- To nurture, build up, and encourage believers of all ages in the faith
- To teach people to study the Bible, pray, fellowship, and care for others.
Our Aim
- For each member to become committed to the Lord and to be a soul winner for Christ. It is our hope for every member to cultivate and maintain a spirit of discipleship and evangelism that will develop Christian maturity and enhance church growth.
Our Desire
- To build a house for the Lord that we can be proud of; a place that we can come and bring others to worship God in comfort and in the beauty of Holiness; and a place that will be a blessing to this community and all who come to Miracle Temple of Deliverance Church of God In Christ.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and, God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.
